Swamp Biome Concept Design Creature

I participated in a casual challenge among friends to do a swamp creature concept design. So I came up with this :)

"Giantake" (Gee-Jian-Tok-eh) I wanted this creature to be mostly defensive but has the ability to fight back. So I imagined it to have armored scales all over the body and on the back it has a giant shell on it. it also have claws for its hands and feets, but its mostly used for defensive/hunting/walking on the terrain. It both can "swim"(although rarely due to shallow waters in the swamp bioms) and walk on land. It can also walk on all fours but normally bipedal. Friendly to humans, although sometimes territorial. It feeds on small fish and vegatation. It serves as natural guardians for nearby tribes.

Techniques used: Photobashing elements, digital painting and a bit of sculpting.
