Techne - Aglaia 700D Futuristic Planet

"Techne - Aglaia 700D" represents one of my futuristic planet concept design I came up with. The name is derived the greek meaning "process of creating beauty". The "700 D" is the tribute to the real-life "earth-like" exoplanet TOI700 D that scientists found earlier this year. In theory it is most likely a rocky planet and "seem" habitable. ⁣I was very curious about the discovery so I wanted to build a world around something real in real life :)

I wanted to create a futuristic city with flying transportation devices. So I was heavily influenced by the Star Wars planet Coruscant. I imagined really tall buildings with multiple flying vehicles occupying the sky. I wanted to make like a bit polluted as this is expected with a huge population. Houses aren't the norm anymore. Most people live in tall buildings to conserve space.⁣ In the design, I imagine these large ships as a "bus" for people and items.
